ROGUE STATE MEXIFORNIA: Calif: $25,000 a month for ex-AG Holder to fight Trump on EPA, immigration

In a statement from Judicial Watch, President Tom Fitton said, ""The new records show California state legislators are wasting tax dollars to bankroll another corrupt politician – Eric Holder – under the pretense of attacking the Trump administration."




Calif: $25,000 a month for ex-AG Holder to fight Trump on EPA, immigration: California's legislature is coughing up $25,000 a month to pay up to 120 Washington lawyers, including former Obama-era Attorney General Eric Holder, to fight expected Trump administration moves covering immigration, the environment and health care. State legislature documents received by Judicial Watch under the Freedom of Information Act detailed the battle plan offered by Holder's firm, Covington. For a retainer of $25,000 a month, Holder and former California Rep. Howard Berman, and some 120 others will be on standby to attack any of President Trump's actions that threaten California legal practices. Key among them, said the Covington proposal:

De Léon, who introduced the bill, made his remarks at a hearing in Sacramento on SB54, the bill to make California a “Sanctuary State.


California State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Léon (D-Los Angeles) said last Tuesday that “half his family” was in the country illegally, using false documents, and eligible for deportation under President Trump’s new executive order against “sanctuary” jurisdictions.
